1. Resume Writing & Interview Preparation: The BLN provides individual consultation and group training workshops to help job seekers put their best foot forward.
Call your local BLN office to set up a personal meeting that is convenient for you.
2. Mentoring: Interested in a particular career path but not sure how to get started? The BLN can connect you with a mentor to assist with personalized career exploration opportunities and individual on-site visits with area employers.
BLN employer volunteers are affiliated with businesses large and small, and also public and non-profit organizations - providing a wealth of career exploration opportunities to help you make good decisions about your future.

3. Employer Site Visits: The BLN co-hosts on-site visits and tours at participating businesses for job seekers with disAbilities every month

If you have an idea regarding a workplace you would be interested in visiting, then please let us know. We can work together to get something set up.
Come meet local employers, learn about their business and employment opportunities - and do some comfortable networking without the intimidation and anxiety that often comes with a formal job interview. We're here to help get you connected in a friendly and supportive way.
4. Short Term Work Trials: Working with our community partners and area employers, the BLN can help facilitate a short term work trial for many job seekers with disAbilities.
Visit with your BLN representative to discuss ideas for one or more work trials at preferred employer sites in your community.
5. Job Leads & Referrals: Every week the BLN receives job leads from area employers. Give us your phone number and email address and you get on our priority list to receive these leads as soon as they come in.
In addition, if we know more about you then the BLN can also help by providing you with referrals to employers with regular hiring needs.
6. Wyoming Division of Vocational Rehabilitation:
It's Wyoming's best-kept secret for job seekers with disAbilities - and an excellent resource.
Connecting with D.V.R. gives job seekers with disAbilities a huge competitive advantage with their career development and job search efforts. The D.V.R. counselors in Wyoming are the best in the country! They are ready and able to work with you to put together a plan based on your interests and needs.
Visit them at your nearest local Workforce Center or local D.V.R. office in communities throughout Wyoming.
7. Jumpstart Employment Network
Job Seekers with disabilities who receive SSI or SSDI from the Social Security Administration qualify to participate in the national Ticket to Work program.
Job seekers with disabilities can receive many important benefits by working with a Ticket to Work program - participating Employment Network.
The Jumpstart Employment Network (launching in January 2012) is the Wyoming BLN's newest program - designed to provide enhanced career exploration and development services ( FREE ) for job seekers with disabilities.
