Disability Friendly Business Campaign
Each local BLN community coordinates its own 'Disability Friendly Business Campaign' which evaluates area businesses for their accessibility towards customers and employees with disabilities - and provides recognition of these businesses that are deemed 'Disability Friendly' with local media. Contact your local BLN office to learn more about becoming a 'Disability Friendly' designated business.
2012 Launch of WBLN's NEW Jumpstart Employment Network
2012 marks the official launch of the WBLN's new Jumpstart program that provides enhanced career exploration and job development services for adult job seekers with disabilities. Jumpstart is Wyoming's first local in-state Employment Network (EN) to be officially recognized by the Social Security Administration - Ticket to Work program. Join Your Local Community BLN Advisory Council
Each local BLN is operated under the auspices of a volunteer-led steering committee which is comprised of at least 50% business community representation. The local BLN steering committee provides advice and support in developing and implementing the local BLN business plan - and it makes sure that BLN programs and services are of benefit to job seekers and employers, and that it complements the array of community and government services at the local level.
